To be successful at Crimson Design Group as a Staff Accountant, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities and duties

  • Prepare and file sales tax
  • Prepare and process company Payroll
  • Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and monthly close processes
  • Prepare and send all monthly Billing
  • Accounts Receivable preparation and follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Cash Projection preparation and analysis
  • Processing incoming payments and accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures
  • Organize and update financial records
  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
  • Ensures compliance with GAAP

Work experience and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • At least five years' experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
  • Strong accounting software awareness and navigation skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations
